Peppergreen won Small Cellar Door and Restaurant of the Year for 2022. If you’re a foodie seeking an exceptional meal, Peppergreen is the place to go.
For tours operating Friday through Sunday, you also have the option to visit our favorite little vineyard in Exeter, Dawning Day. It’s a family-run cellar door, operated by Mike and Kat, and in our opinion, they offer some of the best wines in the region. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by their friendly sheepdog, Kevin, and you’ll also have the chance to meet their sheep and two charming alpacas who are often close by before heading into their cozy, barn-style cellar door.
This is our go-to venue, and we highly recommend adding it to your tour. Since it’s a boutique vineyard with limited seating, there is an additional charge of $10 per person for the wine tasting.

Leilas – A fabulous local Lebanese restaurant:
Menu: Shared dips (hummus, babaganouj, and labneh) with fresh, crispy Lebanese breads; alternate drop salads (tabouleh and fattoush); skewers of chicken, lamb, or kafta (approximately two skewers per person).
Cost: $45 per person.
Franquette – A delightful local French crêperie:
Menu: French sparkling tasting (3 types); choice of a galette from a selection of 5 brunch options; sweet crêpes to share; coffee or tea per person.
Cost: $55 per person.
